Vintage Primes is an upcoming blog and You Tube Channel that will take an in depth look at the mushrooming interest in the world of manual focus vintage lenses especially vintage primes and how they can be adapted to modern day Digital Cameras including DSLR's and Micro 4/3.

This upcoming website will look at the following:

1. How do vintage lenses  perform on  modern digital cameras via adapters when shooting stills and video with hands on reviews and sample footage and photos.

2. Tips and advice on how to buy and pick a good lens and get them for next to nothing gained on real world experiences.

3.  Most importantly how to get the most out of vintage primes of them, the pitfalls to avoid, the lenses to avoid, where to buy them for next to nothing, the best adapters to buy and which digital cameras are best suited to the adapting of vintage lenses to achieve optimum results. Some are better than others.

4. Field testing in real word scenarios to see what amazing results but also limitations they have.

This website is designed for those like myself who are on a tight budget but love photography. With the right vintage lenses especially vintage primes you can get professional results without breaking the bank. If you are prepared to ditch the auto focus and  don't mind manual focusing then this website and You Tube channel are for you.

Although vintage primes are the primary focus some vintage zooms that produce impressive results in the right hands will also be showcased again based on personal experience used in a professional environment.

Based in the London/Hertfordshire Area this upcoming blog and You Tube Channel will be run by somebody that has used manual focus lenses professionally (entertainment and fashion) and will give invaluable advice and how in many ways old vintage lenses will make your work stand out from the crowd.

Watch for further news on the launch date in the coming next few weeks!
